Self-catering accommodation in Bainbridge

If you are looking to enjoy the Yorkshire Dales National Park, then Bainbridge enjoys the perfect location. Situated in the heart of the park, this small village possesses a wealth of charm and character ideal for a self-catering holiday break. The North Yorkshire village has all the essentials you need during your stay, a small village shop, local butchers, a lovely choice of tea rooms to try and the wonderful Rose and Crown Inn, one of Yorkshire’s oldest hotels, where you can relax by the fire after a long day. For a greater range of shops, the market town of Hawes, home of the famous Wensleydale cheese, is just 5 minutes away by car.

The village is located by the River Bain, and while it may be the shortest river in England, it’s still perfect for a countryside stroll. Alternatively, why not take a walk up to the east of of the village where you’ll find the remains of a roman fort. Some great places to visit in the area include the Dales Countryside Museum in Hawes, Aysgarth Falls, Bolton Castle and the Forbidden Corner in Leyburn.

Discover our range of Bainbridge cottages and find your perfect self-catering accommodation in the Yorkshire Dales.
