Nestled in an idyllic spot at the tip of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this delightful home is perfectly situated for four adventurers from all walks of life. Spend days exploring before cosying up in front of the warming wood burner at this welcoming family-friendly home.
Tucked away on a terraced street in a quiet corner of Askrigg, this pretty, stone cottage has been thoughtfully decorated and furnished throughout. Store your coats and boots in the hall before cooking up a storm in the spacious kitchen which has everything you need to make and prepare delicious meals. Grab a bottle from the wine cooler and enjoy eating together at the dining table in the lounge/diner. Afterwards, settle down in front of the wood burner, watch movies, and reflect on the day’s events. Upstairs you will find a wonderful king-size bedroom with double aspect windows that overlook the church and village. A second bedroom containing a double bed, and a bathroom with bath and overhead shower completes the accommodation. Though there is no garden at this property, a bench has been provided at the front, the perfect spot for a morning coffee.
The village has a few pubs and tea rooms within 500 metres and accessed on foot, while further amenities can be found in the bustling market town of Hawes (5.5 miles). There are plenty of walking routes leading from the doorstep including riverside strolls, fell climbs, and waterfall trails. You can also hop in the car and access the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (25 miles).
