Nanny End is a lovely spacious cottage. It is very well equipped - the kitchen was stocked with tea, coffee, biscuits, milk and other essentials. The beds were very comfortable with lovely crisp sheets. There was a log fire and an excellent TV and video setup. There are views from the upper windows and the cottage is well situated with walks from Read morethe door. The village is quaint with 2 pubs, a shop, a bakery and views all round. Jenny was very welcoming and we enjoyed the eggs from the farm. Hide

The cottage is in a great location. Its clean and once we got it warmed up, very cosy. It has everything you need in it and is very comfortable. The only negative is the hot water as it quickly runs out after one shower, but its manageable by spacing out the use of the shower. All the locals are friendly and welcoming. A lovely cottage in a beautiful village. Plenty of walks right on the doorstep. A fabulous bakery in the village too, which is highly recommended by me. Pubs are lovely, with friendly people.
