Our Appletreewick cottages are located in the small village of Appletreewick in beautiful Wharfedale in the Yorkshire Dales. This area is full of character and extremely popular with walkers and cyclists for its less strenuous but wonderfully scenic routes and trails. The village has lovely pubs that serve food, The Craven Arms and Cruck Barn, and The New Inn which has views over the River Wharfe. Appletreewick has great transport links from the nearby market town of Skipton, making it easy to access and easy to explore the surrounding area.

There’s some great things to see and do near to our cottages in Appletreewick, from the nearby Stump Cross Caverns, a limestone cave between Wharfedale and Nidderdale, the majestic ruins of Bolton Abbey or the impressively preserved Skipton Castle. You could also take part in a variety of outdoor activities at How Stean Gorge, just 8 miles away, which is ideal for getting outside and experiencing the fresh air.
