This delightful, cosy and quirky retreat makes a romantic getaway for couples, or a characterful bolthole for smaller families keen to discover the majestic countryside of the Yorkshire Dales. Hebden is a charming and secluded village with a country pub, welcoming tea rooms and miles of breathtaking walks. Hebden Beck runs past the bottom of the lane and down towards the Hebden Suspension Bridge over the River Wharfe (0.5 miles). This stretch of the river is also home to Linton Falls and Burnsall Park, both within 3 miles. The friendly market town of Grassington (2 miles) has an array of galleries and independent shops and cafes. Skipton is also within easy reach (11 miles), with its historic castle and steam railway. Other local landmarks and attractions include Grimwith Reservoir, Stump Cross Caverns and the remains of Bolton Abbey, all within 9 miles.

This cheerful and traditional cottage sits along a quiet narrow lane with the entrance leading you straight into the lovely rustic-style lounge which makes an ideal space to unwind in after a great day’s exploring. This characterful room has flagstone floors and timber ceiling beams, with ample seating, a Smart TV and a wood burner set within a handsome original beehive oven. A door leads through to the kitchen/diner with a handy central dining table and ample storage, workspace and equipment. From the kitchen a wooden staircase leads up to the first floor where you will find two cosy bedrooms, a double and a twin, each with original wooden floorboards. There’s also a shower room with a step leading up to the shower.

Heading outside, the lane leads along to an enclosed garden with outdoor furniture, a BBQ and a sweet summer house, offering a cheerful spot for sitting out in the summer sun. Unallocated on-street parking is available.
