With ample shared facilities, fresh eggs and produce available from the grounds and exceptionally comfortable surroundings to come home to each evening, you’re sure to enjoy the holiday of a lifetime when staying in this charming stone cottage. Situated in Tosside, a village on the brink of the Lancashire and North Yorkshire border, you’re well-positioned for discovering mystical beauty spots in the Forest of Bowland and the Yorkshire Dales National Park, as well as visiting local towns and villages that tourists love. The property itself is a well-appointed three-bed where six guests and two dogs are welcome to stay – ideal for any family or gang of friends.

The property is set out over two storeys with communal living spaces on the ground floor, sleeping quarters on the first floor and a generous allocation of outdoor space accessible at the rear. The kitchen/diner is on-hand for your group’s designated chef to cook up something good, whilst the ever-cosy lounge awaits with a wood burner, TV/DVD and plush seating just next door. The family bathroom is located on the ground floor, complete with a bath for easing aching muscles after a day of walking, yet you’ll also find a handy first-floor WC alongside three bedrooms on the first floor.

Find plenty to do without leaving the property’s grounds, discovering an indoor pool, tennis court, football field and games room within metres of your front door. When you do wish to head out, jump in the car to discover plenty to see and do close by. Popular Yorkshire towns of Settle (9 miles) and Skipton (16.5 miles) are easy to reach, each with historic stone architecture and a regular market. For an awe-inspiring outdoor excursion, head to Malham (13 miles) where you can park up and explore plenty of picturesque spots, including Malham Cove, Janets Foss and Gordale Scar.

Loved our holiday, having the games room and pool to ourselves as we got an hour in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. Only downside is no amenities on site.
