Robin Hood’s Bay Victorian Weekend

TBC Early December

This is the annual Christmas event held in Robin Hoods Bay. Starting on the Friday with a children’s lantern parade down to the dock where there will be Christmas carols, an outdoor picture show, mulled wine and roasted chestnuts to start the weekend festivities. There will be ongoing activities throughout the weekend including, live music, craft fairs, the fire eating man, balls down the bank and a puppet show with prizes for the best dressed including the dog. Whitby and District Lions Boxing Day Dip

Being an annual local tradition, what better way to blow away the cobwebs after Christmas than heading to Whitby beach and taking a dip in the North Sea?! With most participants taking to the water in fancy dress costumes in order to raise money for charity, whether you're joining in or merely spectating this event makes for a great morning of family fun!
