location was perfect. just felt the place was a bit tired, stains on carpets, sofas, oven was dirty, stains on walls and curtains, we didnt use any baking trays as they were looking a bit grim, toilet brush was terrible in the on suite bathroom, my mum said the one in the loo and downstairs bathroom were the same, we found broken glass under the soRead morefa when we arrived as the dogs ball rolled under, my husband swept up and there was hair as well, feel a bit disapointed as the pictures looked lovely. also the patio furniture should have been set out, we had to clean that as well. all of these things should be addressed by the cleaning team, we leave at 10am and arrive at 4pm no way was 6 hours used to clean the property. when i removed the quilt cover on the main bed it had stains on the quilt. we would book again if all these things were put right because the location was perfect it just needs tweeking, i moved a few orniments on the shelves in the front room as looking at empty shelves just looked a bit sad, the owners had some lovely pictures on the walls but again the one above the bed in the onsuite bedroom needed cleaning, i moved a chair to plug my hairdryer in and the cleaner had not duted behind there, even just things like taking a sweeping brush to the patio doors would have been nice. i did messege the owner about the broken glass so she could inform her cleaner Hide

Puffins was a delightful house set in an excellent location. The property was extremely well equipped and our family spent a lovely weekend there. Our eight year old granddaughter loved that it backed on to the excellent park accessed over the garden wall! The information booklet was most helpful.

The property was ideal for a holiday with our extended family. Plenty of room both inside and outside with easy access to the park for the younger members , immediately behind the house. Lovely quiet area and extremely close to the beach... It was very handy having three bathrooms to share between six of us !

Very comfortable and excellent location, being next to a park and close to the beach and shops. It was our first time in Filey and this provided an ideal base for exploring the area. The house was well equipped, though we would have appreciated a sieve, some oven gloves and slightly better quality toilet paper :) The TV in the front lounge is only Read morefor dvd and games, not Freeview as described. The TV in the back is smart and with freesat - and very good. We were a little disappointed with the welcome pack, consisting only of a packet of biscuits, cleaning cloths and dishwasher tablets. Overall we had a great holiday and would certainly consider returning. Hide

We had issues with the heating. The weather was particularly cold that week. Getting up in the night with no heating was not a comfortable experience. It is alright saying there is a thermostat on the wall but there are no instructions as to how to use it. We had to resort to Google to try to understand the controller and get some heat in the housRead moree. Some of the other information with the property was very good - shame our issue spoilt our week. Hide
