This delightful two-bedroom cottage is situated just 300 metres from the market town of Skipton. Located on a quiet residential road, it’s an ideal home-from-home for a couple or small family wanting to explore the Dales and be close to amenities.

Inside the décor is modern and neat. Quirky lighting and splashes of colour adorn the ground-floor living area making it an attractive space to unwind in. After a day exploring, relax on one of the sofas with a book from the shelf or curl up in front of the fireplace with a film on the TV. A neat dining table overlooks the lounge while the separate kitchen features high-end appliances and everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay. After a hearty dinner, head upstairs and choose between a lovely king-size bed and a double bed. Both bedrooms are light and breezy with cheerful décor and home comforts including soft throws, bedside tables, and artwork on the walls. There’s also a good-sized bathroom on this floor. Back on ground level, it’s one step down to a peaceful courtyard. Dotted with garden furniture and potted plants, it’s a good spot for a morning coffee or a cool, evening drink.

Skipton is a charming market town featuring cobbled streets, historic architecture, and plenty of local shops and stores. Keen walkers can enjoy trails straight from the door while history lovers can explore Skipton Castle, one of the most complete medieval castles in England. Alternatively, head to the canal, jump on a narrow boat, and spend an afternoon soaking up the glorious countryside views from the water.

Lorna Loom was very well furnished and equipped to a high standard. It was very cozy and homely for 3 acults and you could tell much thought had gone into the decor and furnishings. It was so quiet in the area too and ideal for walking access to the town centre.

Our 3rd Visit here, it is becoming a little tradition! This time we explored a walk going east along the river from Grassington and returned to the water fall trail at Ingleton.

What a little gem this cottage is. We wish we had known about it on previous visits to the area. Ideally situated, quiet location but close to the centre of Skipton. Very well equipped and clean. Very tastefully decorated, comfy beds and sofas and a fantastic shower.
