The village has shopping and dining facilities, a climbing wall and an ancient viaduct.  High and Low Bentham and Burton in Lonsdale also have dining and shopping facilities. Ingleton Falls and Kirkby Lonsdale can be reached along the riverside and Settle and the Forest of Bowland are only a short drive away.
