This is our home, that we share with guests when we are not able to be in residence. While the property will be cleaned to a very high standard, we will not be removing the many items we have in place for the comfort and enjoyment of our guests. If you have concerns about books, games, ornaments, guest informational binders, or decorative items, we suggest that a different property may be more appropriate for your holiday choice. ***

A very well equipped and quirky cottage. Good walking from the door and excellent local eateries. Kings head, Askrigg excellent food too.
Splendid stay, lovely cottage. This is the second time we have stayed here and it just gets better. The jewel in the crown.
The charming market town of Hawes has been around as far back as 1307 and is still delighting visitors to this day. Standing between Buttertubs and Fleet Moss, the name Hawes literally means 'a pass between mountains' and the town's beautiful setting in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales means you're never far from a breathtaking view and ideally located to access many of the Dale's most popular visistors attractions. The town's market is held every Tuesday selling a great selection of locally produced food and drink, however if you can't wait until then to sample some of the area's lovely food- pay a visit to the the Wensleydale Creamery, located just on the outskirts of the town to see how the famous cheese is made (and try a bit for yourself!). For lovers of the outdoors, there are many fantastic walks in the area such as the Hawes Mosaic Trail and circular walks to nearby Aysgarth Falls, a stunning waterfall over limestone steps.
