Fair Winds is a delightful two bedroomed bungalow with gardens to the front and back and private off street parking. It is situated in the charming fishing village of Staithes, on the beautiful Yorkshire coast, between the popular seaside towns of Whitby and Saltburn. It is just an easy drive to the picturesque North York Moors.
This lovely house is very spacious and homely with large living areas, wooden floors and underfloor heating throughout. The lounge/dining room has a very high ceiling, with Scandinavian style wooden panelling and spotlights, and there is a similarly styled wood burning stove, which creates Fair Wind’s unique character. The adjoining kitchen has lots of storage and is well equipped. The second hallway takes you to the bedrooms, good size family bathroom and the conservatory with the pleasant view towards the back garden.
The village of Staithes is famous for its beauty and charm, it is popular with photographers and painters and features in many photos and artwork of the area. It has characteristic charming tall cottages, several shops and pubs, a pretty beck and a sandy beach. The Jurassic Yorkshire coast is great for fossil hunting.

Hallway: Hanging space, a shoe rack and a built-in cupboard with a washing machine.
Lounge/Dining Room: A two-seater and three-seater sofa, an armchair, lovely Scandinavian style wood burning stove, sideboard and shelves, TV with Freeview, large solid wood dining table and chairs.
Kitchen: Adjoins the lounge/diner. An electric cooker with oven and grill, ceramic hob, fridge freezer with water/ice dispenser, dishwasher, microwave, Senseo coffee machine, units with lights.
Bedroom 1: A double bed with two bedside cabinets and lights, a large built-in wardrobe, a chest of drawers.
Bedroom 2: Two single beds which can also be made up to a Double bed bedside table and light , shelves, a wardrobe with a full length mirror.
Bathroom: Bath, separate shower, toilet and washbasin.
Conservatory: Table and chairs, sofa and unit.
Pets: Sorry, no pets.
Parking: Private off street parking.
Garden: Enclosed garden laid to lawn.
Heating: Underfloor heating, wood burning stove in the lounge.

Staithes is a pretty, traditional fishing village with bundles of charm located 10 miles north of Whitby and offers an idyllic location for holidaymakers visiting the seaside. The village boasts some of the narrowest cobbled streets in the north and is connected with ginnels, nooks and winding streets. There is plenty to see and do with pubs, cafes, shops, art galleries and a fish smokehouse. The village hosts real ale and jazz festivals during the year and the September Arts Festival is becoming a very popular event which attracts many visitors. For those fancying taking to the waters there are regular boat trips to Whitby from Staithes. There are many walks around the area along the cliff tops and through to Whitby, it is an ideal location for any holidaymaker.
