Play golf nearby at North Cliff Golf Club (0.5 miles), visit the pretty gardens and waterfalls and go rowing on the lake at Peasholm Park (1 mile). Wander to the harbour for a coffee (1.5 miles) and walk up onto the headland to Scarborough Castle (1.5 miles). Go on coastal walks along the Cleveland Way towards Cloughton (3.5 miles) or Filey (9 miles). Visit Whitby (20 miles) to see the Abbey, Bridlington (17.5 miles) and the RSPB Reserve at Bempton Cliffs (17.5 miles).
