This was our 6th visit .We love the peace and quiet, being able to just sit and relax. It is always spotlessly clean and a really comfy bed. It is great to have the option of a bath or shower too. It is ideally situated for lots of places along the coast to visit. It is also nice to return to look out to sea and watch the birds around too.

What a lovely place to stay, it is situated on a private estate with no passing traffic or loud noises. It was spotlessly clean with everything you need. Please note there is no wifi which we didn't see as a problem . The shower is over the bath which is not the easiest thing to get in and out of so could be tricky for those who are less agile. It Read morewas near lots of attractions, decent pubs offering reasonably priced food, just over a mile away is a lovely sandy beach with Victorian gardens , an adventure playground and a cafe ( this is not in central Scarborough but just outside ). We had a wonderful week would highly recommend this cottage. Lovely sea views from both inside and out, easy access to the Cleveland Way. Hide

The little bungalow is very comfortable, well equipped and tastefully furnished. It's beautiful. We loved our time there and enjoyed watching two squirrels who visited the garden every day, also a beautuful pheasant made a couple of appearances. A really peaceful location. The bungalow is kept beautifully clean by the lady next door, who is very pRead moreleasant and helpful. There are all the utensils you would need, but I didnt check the website to see if there were any towels supplied because there usually are, however, we had to nip to a nearby Dunelm to buy some because there weren't any in the property. There have been lots of comments made in the reviews that the shower is dangerous because it doesn't have a handrail, but we found that if you held onto the windowsill getting into the bath, and pulled the shower screen into the bath space, you could get out of the bath holding on to the sink. Our only negative was, although there was a sea view, it wasn't the 'clear ' seaview that was guaranteed on the website and on the photos. It was the uninterrupted seaview, that was clearly just above the fence, that sold it to us because that's what we were looking for. The ground beyond the garden fence is obviously unattended and very overgrown, with high bushes that blocks most of the sea view from the bungalow. This overgrowth should be cut back or the photos changed. However, we still had a wonderful restful holiday, and would highly recommend it as long as you don't expect a 'clear' sea view. Hide
