Description
The Cottage is a delightful two bedroomed property which is close to the sea and the Yorkshire moors. With private parking space and outside seating area with only a two minute walk into the centre and a ten minute walk to the beach and lower promenade. This charming property is a fantastic choice for a family seaside holiday as well as a romantic getaway for couples. The property is set on two levels, with a comfortable living area and the adjoining kitchen dining room downstairs, with two lovely bedrooms upstairs. The Cottage has a private enclosed patio with portable outside seating and private off street parking on the driveway. There is also unrestricted parking nearby on a first come first serve basis.The bustling and popular seaside resort of Saltburn offers a variety of shops, boutiques, tearooms, pubs and restaurants and The Cottage is just an easy walk to all of the above, with bus and train services to larger towns. Saltburn boasts two promenades… upper and lower which are both very pleasant to take in the coastal views. Ten minutes walk down to the beach and seafront where the famous pier, cliff lift, gift shops and amusement arcade can be found, fish and chips and some lovely walks into the old Victorian gardens and miniature train. The lovely sandy beach is rated as one of the most attractive beaches in the area and is popular with water sports enthusiasts, especially surfers. The beautiful Jurassic coast is renowned for fossil hunting. Should you choose not to drive but come on the train the station is just a short level walk to the property.
GROUND FLOOR:
Entrance: Small entrance porch with hanging space, stairs leading to bedrooms and bathroom.
Lounge. From the porch you enter the spacious lounge where you can relax on the two two-seater sofas, TV with Freeview, a pouffe, occasional tables, shelves and a cabinet with a good selection of books, games and DVDs. Electric fire.
Kitchen/Dining Room: Adjoining the lounge there is a modern and well-equipped kitchen with a fridge freezer, electric oven with grill, an induction hob, microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher. There is a comfortable dining table and chairs, built in cupboards and a door leading out to the enclosed patio.
FIRST FLOOR
Landing: Airing cupboard and two storage cupboards.
Bedroom 1: A charming and spacious bedroom offering a Zip & Link bed that can be set as a king size bed or twin beds, two bedside cabinets and lights, two double wardrobes, dressing table and an armchair.
Bedroom 2: A pleasant room with full size bunk beds with reading lights, a bedside table, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe.
Bathroom: The family bathroom offers a large walk-in shower, toilet, washbasin, bathroom cabinet and a radiator.
Pets: Small dogs welcome, maximum two.
Parking: Private off street parking on the driveway and unrestricted on street parking on a first come first serve basis near the cottage.
Patio: Wall and fence enclosed patio with portable table and chairs.

Saltburn-by-the-Sea
Steeped in history, Saltburn has maintained much of its original character and charm as a Victorian Seaside resort. The long stretch of beach has a traditional seaside pier. Have a stroll in the Italian gardens or for the more serious walker the popular Cleveland Way National Trail is right on your doorstep. Saltburn also boasts the oldest water balanced tramway in Britain that is still in operation. The town itself has a selection of cafes, restaurants and independent shops. All this makes Saltburn the ideal base for you to explore the North York Moors and towns beyond.
