Description
Holmlea is a charming character cottage located at the heart of Robin Hood's Bay, only a few minutes walk to the beach. The cottage has been furnished to a very good standard, and is bright and pleasant. It retains some original features such as wooden beams, floorboards and fireplaces. There is a spacious garden room in front of the property accross a narrow pathway and a lovely sun trap patio with outside seating.
GROUND FLOOR:
Kitchen/Lounge: A ceramic hob with electric oven and grill, fridge with icebox, microwave in the storage cupboard. TV with Freesat and DVD player, gas woodburner-effect stove and extendable table and chairs.
Garden room: Across a narrow pathway. Feature fireplace, large wooden table and chairs, doors leading to a sheltered patio.
FIRST FLOOR:
Bedroom 1: Double bed, chest of drawers, hanging rail and feature fireplace.
Bathroom: Bath, shower over the bath, toilet, washbasin.
SECOND FLOOR:
Bedroom 2: Double bed, fitted wardrobe and dressing table.
Bedroom 3: Single bed and sea views. Hanging space on the landing.
Pets: Sorry, no pets.
Parking: This property doesn't provide parking but public car parks at the top of the village are available.
Garden: Patio with outside seating.
Heating: Gas central heating, gas woodburner-effect stove.
Short breaks: Not accepted at peak times.

Located five miles south of Whitby and 15 miles north of Scarborough, it is the perfect place for a self-catering holiday. Steeped in history this quaint village with its winding cobbled streets, dotted with cafes, pubs and shops it is well catered for visitors. It boasts a stunning beach at the foot of the bay which provides a paradise for family fun. Children will be entertained with plenty of rock pools to splash in and fossils to hunt, while adults can take in the breathtaking views of the cliffs which tell the enchanting history of the place.
