  • A true family-friendly property with plenty of books and games, a bunk bedroom and records to play
  • With far-reaching sea views out to stunning Robin Hood’s Bay

Property code: OC-R565

Set on the first and second floors of a sea captain’s house in the upper part of popular Robin Hood’s Bay, this comfortable apartment boasts books, games, DVDs and even a record player for your entertainment. It’s ideal as a seaside getaway for couples and families, with a furry friend allowed, too.

Built at the end of the 19th century, this large apartment has some beautiful ornamental fireplaces, and views of the sea from its lounge and double bedroom. After parking at the front, enter through the shared hall with its original tiled floor and head up the stairs to the first floor. Here you’ll find a welcoming lounge with leather sofas gathered around a coal-effect gas fire. There’s a TV and DVD here if you fancy a quiet evening in. In the dining room you can play some LPs while you eat, and afterwards choose a board game from the shelves. The bright and pretty kitchen - with everything you’ll need to prepare delicious holiday meals - is also on this floor, as well as a bathroom and a shower room. On the half-landing there’s a separate WC. All three bedrooms are on the second floor: a double, a twin and a room with two full-size bunk beds (though perhaps best suited to children).

Located on a beautiful stretch of Yorkshire coastline and on the edge of the North York Moors, Robin Hood’s Bay has something for everyone. The dog-friendly beach is great for rock pooling and fossil hunting, and afterwards you can explore the village’s steeply sloping, cobbled streets, which wind around to reveal enticing shops and a range of lovely places to eat and drink. Walk the coast path and enjoy gorgeous views, or head inland to see the famous Falling Foss waterfall, 6 miles.

This is a lovely home that provides all you will need for your holiday. A great base for touring the local area and there are plenty of beautiful museums, castles, priory's, abbey's etc to visit. There is something for everyone taste and the scenery is delightful. If you want to walk the Cleveland way from Robi hoods Bay to whitby the path starts Read more1 minute from your door. If you can walk 6 miles up and down hilly terrain please do it... the scenery, both the sea scale and country side is stunning. The house is ideal for a family or three groups of two. Spacious and bright. Great to have the choice of bath or shower. Hide
