Thoroughly enjoyed our week in this cosy little cottage. Open fire is such a treat to relax by after a day's walking in the wind and rain. All in all a very special week.
A very quaint and cosy cottage. Love the big shower. Great location for the pubs and shop.
Absolutely fantastic trip! Lovely days spent on the beach and walking locally followed by cosy nights by the fire.
Wonderful little cottage in the heart of Robin Hoods Bay. Perfect spot and had everything we needed. Lovely little extra touches like the biscuits and cake and milk upon arrival.
We love Cliff Head! What a gorgeous cottage! The views are stunning and the inside decor just perfect. It's so cosy, warm, well equipped and stylish.
Robin Hood's Bay has always been our family's favourite coastal destination and this cottage was in the perfect location for sea views, the beach, the pubs and access to The Cleveland Way. The cottage was very comfortable and cosy and a pleasure to stay in.
Came for a short break to celebrate my 50th birthday. We've been to the bay several times and stayed at other cottages/ b and b's, Cliff Head is definately one of the best. Absolutely beautiful. Views are breathtaking. The cottage has everything you could need. Clean cosy and just perfect. Thank you for letting us spend time in your home. We will be back
Have absolutely loved staying at the cottage for our long weekend and enjoyed some valuable mum and daughter time. Really enjoyed the views especially the loo with a fab view! Brought some logs for a fire and enjoyed the cosy evenings watching it go dark over the bay. Walked 9.5 miles from the door of the cottage up to station car park and enjoyed the cinder track/old railway line and walked to Ravenscar. A very easy route to follow. Grabbed refreshments in the visitor centre then started the cliff walk to Robins Hood Bay and the last part along the beach.
Superb Cottage. Well appointed and everything works. The views are amazing and watching the sun rise over Raven Hall was memorable. We made good use of the Cleveland way and the cinder track in both directions.
It was our second stay at Cliff Head Cottage. It's a cosy comfortable dwelling in an excellent position.
Our first visit to Robins Hood Bay and most definitely not our last. Loved the cottage and the breathtaking views. Loved the quaint pubs and restaurants too. Victorian weekend was brill. Walked to Whitby along the coastal path - fantastic! A must for anyone who enjoys a bit of exercise along with gorgeous rugged views and fresh sea air. Fabulous few days spent in a lovely cosy base! Robin Hoods Bay
One of the jewels in the crown of the North East coastline is the small fishing village of Robin Hoods Bay. Located five miles south of Whitby and 15 miles north of Scarborough, it is the perfect place for a self-catering holiday. Steeped in history this quaint village with its winding cobbled streets, dotted with cafes, pubs and shops it is well catered for visitors. It boasts a stunning beach at the foot of the bay which provides a paradise for family fun. Children will be entertained with plenty of rock pools to splash in and fossils to hunt, while adults can take in the breathtaking views of the cliffs which tell the enchanting history of the place.
