Description

Perfect for a romantic break away on the beautiful Yorkshire Coast, Seascape Cottage is a delightful one bedroom cottage set all on one level, within the spacious grounds of Silkstone Hall in the village of Hinderwell. Close to the village pub and the coast, the cottage is ideally situated for exploring all of the surrounding coastal resorts and the North York Moors. This is a great base for those that love walking and cycling, and the cottage is pet friendly too.

Furnished to a high standard, the open plan living area with its wood burning stove, is a lovely room to relax in after a busy day out and about. The large patio area provides the ideal spot for enjoying an al fresco evening meal and the cosy double bedroom is a comfortable and welcoming retreat at the end of the day. If there are a few of you holidaying together, Seascape Cottage can be booked together with WA067 Landscape Cottage next door which also sleeps two.

The property is very good, although small it offers everything you need plus there is excellent rural views from the stable front door. Very impressive welcome package which was appreciated. It is located in lovely grounds which provide seclusion and privacy from the main road. The owners are very friendly and approachable but do not interfere with your holiday, but if needed are always available to help or assist in any way they can. We would highly recommend this property.

Hinderwell
Hinderwell is a small village between Runswick Bay and Staithes.  The village has a great amount of community spirit and residents take part in an annual scarecrow competition which makes for family fun viewing as the creations line villager's gardens and businesses. There are many amenities including a butcher, a post office, church, a village hall, fish and chip shop, two inns and tennis courts . Hinderwell is an ideal base for walking holidays as it close to many coastal walking routes. Situated on the A174, it is ideal for those wanting to visit Whitby using the regular bus service. This avoids you paying to park in Whitby's busy car parks.
