This beautiful stone-built cottage in the attractive village of Low Hawsker is a wonderful setting for a family of four to enjoy a holiday on the Yorkshire coast. A wonderful blend of original period features and stylish decor makes the three-storey property a great place to relax after a day of adventure. There are two bedrooms, and the living space is kept cosy by a crackling wood burner.

From the entrance porch, step inside and make yourselves at home in the lounge. Here, a variety of seating surrounds a Smart TV and a wood burner, so you can catch up with your favourite box sets in the warmth of a glowing fire. When you’re feeling peckish, the kitchen has everything you could need to whip up something delicious. Climb the stairs to the first floor to find a spacious bedroom with a double and a single bed, plus a family shower room. Up another set of cottage-style stairs to the second floor, you can curl up in the attic-style bedroom, which again features a double and a single bed beneath characterful low, sloping ceilings. On sunny days, nothing beats sipping a glass of something chilled in the courtyard garden, surrounded by colourful flowers.

Just 3 miles away, guests can explore the iconic cobbled streets of Whitby, and 2 miles away the shores of Robin Hood's Bay, famed for its tales of smugglers and pirates. Alternatively, take a stroll and admire the breathtaking Falling Foss waterfall, located just 5 miles away, or adventure along one of the many picturesque walking and cycling trails, with access to the Cleveland Way only 6 miles from the cottage.

Our 3rd visit to this lovely cottage. Lots of walks, especially into Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay. Can highly recommend The Victoria in Robin Hoods Bay, The Cod and Lobster in Staithes and the Hare and Hounds just across the road from the cottage. The cottage itself has all amenities including dishwasher and washing machine and central heating when cRead morehilly making it very cosy. Not forgetting a lovely welcome pack with a bottle of wine included. In an excellent location we will be back for a 4th visit. Hide

Lovely cottage with lots of nice personal touches, really felt like a home from home! Lots to see and do in the area and contrasts between the coastal towns and villages and the remoteness of the moors. Interesting to watch the coast to coast walks passing the front door. Turn right for Robin Hood's Bay and turn left for the pub.
