Description

A luxurious spacious traditional stone-built cottage with a large enclosed cottage garden with decked area and hot tub. Ideally situated right in the centre of the village close to all amenities including newsagents, Costcutter, tearooms, fish and chips, pubs and restaurants. Thornton Le Dale is perfectly situated in the centre of the North Yorks Moors National Park near the beautiful Dalby Forest and still only 30 minutes from York and the well known coastal towns of Whitby and Scarborough. Nearby is the famous North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway running between Pickering and Whitby, and is now close to the Tour de Yorkshire route.

Cloakroom: Toilet and washbasin.

FIRST FLOOR:
Bedroom 1:
Super king-size double bed (zip & link, can be twin beds) as well as an additional single bed, fitted wardrobes, dressing table.
En suite: Roll top bath, walk-in shower, toilet, bidet, washbasin.
Bedroom 2:  Double bed with fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers.
Bathroom: Bath, shower mixer, toilet and washbasin.

Pets: Two dogs welcome.
Garden: Split level large garden with patio, sun deck and hot tub.
Parking: Off-street parking for one car at the rear of the property.
Heating: Gas central heating, open coal fire (welcome fuel provided).
Short breaks: Not accepted at peak times or between March and October.
Notes: Please bring your own towels. There is also a double folding bed for use in the dining room so sleeps up to 6. Unlimited WiFi is available free of charge. Smoking is not allowed at this property. Mobile phone signal is strong.

Thornton Le Dale
Thornton-le-Dale is a village and civil parish in the Ryedale district of North Yorkshire and is two miles east of Pickering. The village is made famous by a thatched cottage which has appeared on countless calendars and chocolate boxes over the years. It is a feel good village with a friendly vibe, making all of its visitors feel welcome and right at home. The route of the famous White Rose Way, a long distance walk from Leeds to Scarborough also passes through. Dalby Forest is nearby and hosts open air concerts in a magnificient natural setting; also it is a great place for cyclists, picnics and walkers.
