Description
Monks Bridge is a charming three bedroomed converted former school house, ideally situated at the edge of the peaceful village of Crosby Ravensworth and within easy walking distance of the local pub. The property is located next to Lyvennet Beck and Monks Bridge from where the cottage takes its name. Dating back to the 1700's this spacious property is in an ideal location for those wanting to explore Cumbria, the Yorkshire Dales and the Pennines. There is a delightful garden to relax in, or if the weather is not in your favour why not take a seat in the sun room that overlooks the Beck. If you are lucky you may catch a glimpse of the red squirrels, ducks and other wildlife that visit the area. Monks Bridge provides modern amenities yet has retained much of the character of the original building such as the lofty ceilings, arched windows and wooden floors and is an ideal holiday destination for families or groups of friends. For every holiday taken at Monks Bridge the owners will donate £10 to Riding for the Disabled, a charity enriching the lives of disabled people through horses.
