At a glance

  • Stylish glamping pod on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales with sweeping countryside views
  • Unwind in the private hot tub and sauna, then spend the evening relaxing around the fire pit
  • Visit the dramatic Ribblehead Viaduct, explore Ingleton Falls or ride the scenic Settle-Carlisle Railway
Property code: OC-B37509

Luxuriate on a solo trip or couple’s escape to this sleek cabin with exceptional design features and finish. This pod offers rolling Yorkshire countryside views, amid peace and quiet, with its very own outside space, including a hot tub and infrared sauna – all surrounded by nature in abundance. Indoors, after a day’s walking or exploring the poplar town of Settle (4 miles), relax in front of the wood burner. Your dog can curl up by the fire too, if your furry chum also needs a holiday!

Small, but perfectly formed, this modern glamping cabin boasts sharp lines and modern materials, looking really smart and inviting. The cleverly designed interior is bright and airy with light flooding through the large windows and accenting the tasteful, neutral decor with light wood touches. Open the doors from the bedroom and lounge areas to let the outside in. The open-plan space flows beautifully from the lounge end to the cosy bedroom, via a useful kitchenette. You could argue that the best is yet to come outside – with a hot tub and sauna to soothe aching muscles. There are sun loungers for the daytime and a fire pit for star-gazing at night. On the wider complex there is even a wildlife pond.

Take a leisurely wander around Settle (4 miles) where you can walk along the River Ribble. While you’re here, treat yourself to ride the 72 miles of stunning scenery and railway history on a Settle-Carlisle steam train. Continue from Settle to Stainforth Force (6 miles), admiring the view of Pen-y-Ghent (10 miles). Famed for its waterfalls, Ingleton is 7 miles away, or you could check out White Scar Cave (8 miles). If you get an urge for something more urban, Skipton (19.5 miles) offers up its medieval castle and more quiet canals.

I would recommend the barn its very clean and cosy and the little extras that were provided really made the experience that little bit more special, was so quiet and peaceful which is what we wanted. The bed was really comfortable and having the Sauna and Hottub after a day of hiking the Dale's was a blessing.
