The cottage was very small, Obviously photos were taken with a fisheye lense, it felt like we were sat in the Kitchen rather than a lounge, the sofa was uncomfortable and it wasn't the one in the photo, The toilet and shower was in the bedroom which was nice but not very private as it is not a wall to ceiling room it didn't even have a door, the hoRead moret tub is private use but far from private, as we were in there were people arriving to there properties next to us going to and fro to get there bags having a good look over the wall, also we were disturbed by wedding guests at 12.30am shouting and carrying on after coming back from the wedding venue that they have there, not the most relaxing cottage we have stayed at and certainly not good for the money we paid, we have stayed in better for less, it is a shame as the grounds are lovley. Cottage was clean but there were a few cracked tiles and the grouting needs to be replaced. Did not like the "bathroom " had to dry shower floor after shower was used as it was very slippy going into the toilet. Bathroom was not a room so we had to leave light on in main room with door open over night so you could see the steps into the toilet as pRead moreutting the bathroom light on lit up the bedroom. Hot tub was lovely it was a nice break away booked at last minute Hide

We booked this as a last minute trip for our wedding anniversary. We didnt realise until we got there that its a wedding venue, this didnt impact our stay at all. Tge grounds are superb, we had a good wander on our last morning, and a good chat with the fishing bailiff! The hot tub was just the job at the end of the day, we will be back again!

The cottage was beautiful, the location is perfect! Just 5mins away from Richmond. An Uber cost just 6 & we had a stroll along the river. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped. Hot tub is perfect with a beautiful view. We would definitely return.

A beautiful cottage with everything you need for a lovely and relaxing stay. The location is stunning, with amazing views of the lake and surrounding areas. The owners were so polite and we were welcomed with a bottle of fizz. The hot tub was warm and clean, and even storm Darragh didnt stop us taking a dip.
