Nestled amongst the North Yorkshire countryside, this delightful cottage makes a great base for couples and small families seeking peace and tranquillity. The holiday home, which is just 3 miles from the market town of Pickering, is surrounded by a whole host of walking and cycling routes to explore. Further afield, enjoy day trips to the North Yorkshire Heritage Coast (20 miles) or local attractions such as Castle Howard (11.5 miles) or Rievaulx Abbey (19 miles).

The stylish redbrick cottage is set on a working farm, alongside two other holiday homes. On the ground floor, you'll find a bright and contemporary lounge/kitchen/diner with bi-fold doors framing fabulous countryside views. To the rear of the room is a sleek kitchen area for rustling up delicious dinner for two, which you can share at the wooden table or outside on your private patio. In the evenings, cosy up on the sumptuous sofa to read your book or catch up on your favourite programmes on the Smart TV. Upstairs, set in the eaves under a sloping ceiling, is a welcoming king-size bedroom with a skylight and plush linens for ultimate relaxation. The bedroom has an en-suite shower room and a daybed to accommodate an extra guest if required (by prior arrangement). Outside, the enclosed courtyard garden is a tranquil place to relax and take in the beautiful scenery. The cottage has private parking for one car.

The attractive market town of Pickering has a fantastic range of independent eateries, along with boutiques, galleries, and antique stores to potter around. You can also board the steam trains of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway within the town. The surrounding area is a paradise for walkers and nearby highlights include North Riding Forest Park (4 miles), the Howardian Hills (8 miles), and the Hole of Horcum (9 miles). For a day at the seaside, journey to Whitby, Scarborough, or Robin Hood's Bay (all within 30 miles).

We had a lovely stay in Robin cottage. I would recommend it to anybody very roomy, nice and clean and got everything you could want. The wildlife is great I got a lest 18 different birds on my app in the mornings, seen rabbits fox and deer.
