Enjoy a cosy stay at this stylish, studio apartment set within the pretty village of Askrigg at the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. Sleeping two guests, and offering dog-friendly accommodation, the sumptuous, one-bedroom retreat is on the second floor of the handsome house where episodes of the BBC’s original series of drama All Creatures Great and Small were shot. Nestled in glorious scenery, the village makes an ideal base for those who enjoy walking, hiking and wildlife watching.

Make your way into the building and up to your private quarters. Your home from home is one of seven elegant apartments set within this beautiful building. Open your front door and enter to find your luxurious lounge/diner/bedroom. This is where you can settle down to evenings in front of the Smart TV and romantic meals at the table together. The adjacent kitchen has been well designed to ensure it is equipped with everything you require for whipping up delicious dishes with your own ingredients. At the end of each superb day away in the Yorkshire Dales, run a bath in the stylish bathroom then enjoy a truly relaxing night’s sleep in the king-size bed. There is no outside space with this studio apartment but you are within 200 metres of picturesque, open countryside.

Take time out to see the impressive Aysgarth Falls during your stay. Situated some 5 miles from your base, this beauty spot has been the backdrop to scenes from many movies including Wuthering Heights. Visit Bolton Castle, 7 miles away, too. This is widely acclaimed as one of the country’s best preserved medieval castles. Spend time in the delightful little market town of Hawes, 5.5 miles away. Stock up on tasty Yorkshire produce, take a tour of the famous Wensleydale Creamery and pick up the Pennine Way here.
