Go on a dog walk to the nearby North Cliffe Wood Nature Reserve (4.5 miles) which is filled with woodland and wildlife. Take a picnic to the lakeside of Burnby Hall Gardens (10 miles) or spend a day on the sandy shores of Hornsea Beach (28.5 miles). You could also visit the historic town of York (19 miles).
