Go for a walk at Cropton Forest (3 miles) and Dalby Forest (17 miles), where there are also exciting mountain bike trails. Catch the steam train on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway at Pickering for a trip through stunning scenery to the Gothic town of Whitby on the coast (18.5 miles) and have an exciting day out at Scarborough’s Luna Park (22.5 miles).
