This welcoming retreat is in the quaint village of Newport in East Riding. The property sleeps four guests, and is perfect for couples and small families looking to explore the area’s historic towns and villages, including Howden (7 miles) and Beverley (15 miles). There are also several long-distance walking trails nearby, including the Yorkshire Wolds Way which starts in Hessle, 13 miles away. In the evenings, soak up the sunshine and enjoy a family BBQ in the attractive garden.

The bungalow has a home-away-from-home vibe, with plush soft furnishings and carefully chosen accessories to make your stay as relaxed as possible. Kick off muddy boots in the hallway, before heading through to the welcoming lounge. Unwind here on the sumptuous corner sofa, after a day of sightseeing, to read a book or watch the Smart TV. The kitchen has everything needed to cater for the group, and you can share memorable mealtimes together in the light and bright dining area in the conservatory. The property has two elegant bedrooms – one of which has patio doors opening onto the garden – and a stylish family bathroom. The enclosed garden has been designed with outdoor entertaining in mind, with a choice of dining areas, BBQ, and a fabulous hot tub.

The historic market town of Howden has a beautifully preserved Georgian town centre, with cobbled streets and fascinating buildings. The town has a good range of eateries, including old coaching inns and traditional tea rooms. For local goods and produce, head into the town on market day. On the outskirts of Howden is the tranquil haven of Howden Marsh, where walking trails meander around the lakes and islands. The cathedral city of York is 28 miles away and makes a lovely day trip.

  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £25. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Little baysgarth was gorgeous! We absolutely loved it! Cosy little cottage with the added bonus of a private enclosed hot tub! Excellent cottage, everything you could need is provided. Lovely Hot tub and outside space. Very peaceful and quiet, on the edge of the village but only a few minutes walk to shops, pubs, takeaways etc. Plenty of lanes, paths close by for walking the dog and pubs close by all dog friendly. Would happily book again

Delightful, comfortable and peaceful property, ideal for relaxing and using as a base to explore the wider area. Hot tub is a wonderful feature and garden is very secure for dogs.

A lovely cottage with the added bonus of a hot tub.The village cafe does nice coffee and cakes and we also had breakfast there one morning.Great base for exploring Bridlington and York. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this lovely bungalow. It is a home from home. Apart from a larger house owned by the same host it is very private and quiet. It has a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher. The bedrooms are spacious with plenty of cupboard space. The beds are very comfortable with nice bedding. We had a wonderful week away visiting family. The accommodation is faultless and of the highest quality. The two dogs loved the garden and the children thought it was fabulous.
