This bright and spacious cottage sits within the grounds of the owner’s 18th-century farmhouse, offering an ideal base for walkers and cyclists with stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

Situated on the owner's farm in the village of Cowling, this beautiful property is tucked away in a private and peaceful location, yet close to local amenities. The market town of Skipton is only a short drive away, well known as The Gateway to the Dales.  Walk the Pennine Way or take a trip to Pendle Hill with its walks, pubs and history of witches, making for a great afternoon out. Visit the wealth of shops, pubs and restaurants that Skipton has to offer, or explore the medieval castle. The Yorkshire Dales and Nidderdale AONB are within easy reach, ideal for walkers and cyclists, with Brontë Country and the town of Howarth also close by.

On entering the property, you are welcomed into a small entrance hall, perfect for leaving your muddy coats and boots after a long day of exploring. Enjoy the open-plan living space, with a bright and stylish lounge/kitchen/diner. Relax in front of the wood burner or make a cup of Yorkshire Tea in the well-equipped kitchen area with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. The beautiful king-size bedroom enjoys views towards the nearby Cowling Pinnacle and Lund's Tower. Finishing the accommodation is a shower room with a WC.

Step outside to the enclosed private garden accessed through a gate at the side of the property. Enjoy a BBQ in the patio area and relax whilst enjoying the stunning scenery that surrounds you. To the right of the garden is the owners’ chicken run.

Beautiful cottage, well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nice walks straight from the cottage and a great base to visit local attractions. The welcome touches of homemade bread, cake and fresh eggs was a lovely touch. We would definitely return.

Very well equipped and comfortable property with everything you could need for a relaxing break which is exactly what we wanted. The homemade bread and cakes were a thoughtful touch.

We can honestly say this is one of the best cottages weve ever stayed in. There was the warm welcome of freshly baked bread and cupcakes, a log burner for those cosy evenings, very well equipped kitchen and a lovely patio area for enjoying the amazing view. You can buy fresh eggs from their own chickens and ducks and Victoria was so lovely, nothingRead more was too much trouble. Our third visit to this lovely Lodge. The setting, surrounded by fields full of sheep and rabbits, with chicken's outside the bedroom window is perfect. Very relaxing. The location is ideal for visiting and exploring numerous great places. We highly recommend this property. xx John & Julie.

This is a fabulous cottage - it's spotlessly clean and very well-equipped. We were blessed with gorgeous weather during our stay and the views are stunning. We spent many happy times watching the baby bunnies in the field outside and the chickens as well. The location is great - just a short drive to so many beautiful and interesting places. Really lovely cottage. Every comfort in a beautiful area. Peaceful area where it is easy to relax. There are plenty of places to go even if like us days of footpath walking are behind you. Lovely villages where you can wander and then enjoy one of the many little cafes or just sit and admire the scenery. It is close to the dales and the Forest of BRead moreowland is worth a visit. Really well equipped and comfortable lodge. Spotlessly clean and the surroundings are beautiful. Waking up to see the newly born spring lambs was a highlight. Owners are available to contact for any issues if needed. We had a lovely welcome when we arrived with the fresh eggs from their hens, home-baked cookies and fresh bread. We had a lovely week at The Lodge. It is in an idyllic setting with lots to see in the vicinity. The Lodge is very comfortable and has had a lot of thought put into it. Very friendly hosts and we really enjoyed the home baked bread and cakes.

Absolutely stunning lodge set in the most gorgeous countryside! So very relaxing and comfy. The lodge being set on a farm you could hear and see the chickens and sheep. So very lovely! Great to sample their own eggs for breakfast.
