You’ll be in a quiet spot 1 mile from the nearest pub in Langtoft. For shops, cafes and restaurants, you’ll need to go to Driffield (7 miles), a lovely market town known as the ‘Capital of the Wolds’. If you fancy viewing the pretty landscapes from the comfort of a train carriage, why not board a train on the Yorkshire Wolds Railway 9 miles away? A day out in Scarborough (14.5 miles) is always a wonderful idea – this is a seaside resort with sandy beaches, a 12th-century castle and a funicular railway linking the town centre with its South Bay and harbour.
