There’s lots of space so you can spend time together or spread out in the living space and enclosed garden, and the cottage is close to East Riding’s beaches, towns, and stunning walks.
The cottage is light and bright, with thoughtful touches to ensure you have a comfortable stay. Go down the path and into the open-plan kitchen/diner, a spacious and stylish space equipped with everything you need to cook for a big group, a rustic table and chairs, and a TV. Adjacent is the lounge where you can relax on the comfy sofas and watch the Smart TV. There’s also a utility room with a washing machine on the ground floor, and a cosy seating area at either end of the kitchen. Upstairs, are the four pretty bedrooms with views across the fields: there are two twin rooms, a king-size and a double, all with TVs, and the double has a Juliet balcony. All four bedrooms access the two Jack and Jill bathrooms. Heading outside, the kids can potter safely on the large lawned area in the fenced garden. There’s also a patio with garden furniture where you can enjoy drinks on sunny days.
Head out on walks to explore the Wolds on the Wolds Way and visit the beaches along the east coast for pretty coastal wanders; Scarborough (15 miles), Filey (14 miles), and Bridlington (13.5 miles) are all within easy reach. Enjoy the birds and wildlife at RSPB Bempton Cliffs (16.5 miles) and visit the foodie town of Malton where you’ll find a range of great food producers, cafes, restaurants, and shops (17 miles).
