Description

A beautiful stone-built cottage located in Thwaite in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The Cottage is full of character with beamed ceilings, stone inset and an open fire in a stone surround with oak shelf.  Sleeping up to four in two bedrooms the property benefits from a large wall mounted TV in the lounge and is within walking distance of the local cafe and pub, further amenities can be found in the nearby popular market town with its quirky shops, Dales pubs and tea rooms,  the Wensleydale Creamery is within walking distance from Hawes.

GROUND FLOOR:

Lounge:  One small step up. Two, two-seater comfortable sofa’s, pouffe, dining table and chairs, oak side tables large wall mounted Smart TV, DVD, inset bookshelves, open fire in feature stone surround, beamed ceiling, views over the fell from the window. Bluetooth speaker.

Area Information

Thwaite
Thwaite is in Upper Swaledale, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty. The Pennine Way and Coast to Coast walks pass close by and cyclists can follow the route of Le Tour 2014.  The protected wild flower meadows burst into colour in May and June, with rich autumn hues from September onwards. The Yorkshire Dales are loved for their spectacular scenery, old market towns and unspoilt villages. Why not visit one of the many castles, stately homes or abbeys, ending with a visit to one of the local tea shops?  There are activities to suit all tastes from pot holing to climbing crags or watching waterfalls; or, if you prefer wheels to walking, why not try the network of bridleways and byways? What better way to end your day than a visit to one of the local Dale's pubs to sample the local beer and food?
