A beautiful 300-year-old high quality three bedroomed, three bath roomed detached stone-built property located in the hamlet of West Stonedale within the Yorkshire Dales National Park.  The property comes with a beautifully furnished summer house which has bifold doors leading to the large six-seater hot tub.  Although the property has been renovated to a high quality, there are many characterful features that remain such as beamed ceilings and the original stone fire surround in the lounge.  With underfloor heating throughout the downstairs, two bathrooms, a large wet room, large entertaining kitchen diner, this would make an ideal property for those of you who are looking for a very well equipped high quality property and is ideal for friends and family looking to holiday together is this stunning part of North Yorkshire.  The property also comes with slippers and Bath robes and a luxury welcome pack to get your holiday off to a great start.

Area Information

West Stonedale 
West Stonedale is a hamlet of seven houses Upper Swaledale, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It is between Keld and the worlds famous Tan Hill Inn which is Britain's highest pub. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty. The Pennine Way and Coast to Coast walks pass close by and cyclists can follow the route of Le Tour 2014.  The protected wild flower meadows burst into colour in May and June, with rich autumn hues from September onwards. The Yorkshire Dales are loved for their spectacular scenery, old market towns and unspoilt villages. Why not visit one of the many castles, stately homes or abbeys, ending with a visit to one of the local tea shops?  There are activities to suit all tastes from pot holing to climbing crags or watching waterfalls; or, if you prefer wheels to walking, why not try the network of bridleways and byways? What better way to end your day than a visit to one of the local Dale's pubs to sample the local beer and food.

The River Swale is nearby which has a series of waterfalls locally called Forces and many people will recognize Wain Wath. Kidson Force, East Gill Force and Catrake. All of these are just a short walk from Brystone cottage. West Stonedale is also the home for Black Grouse.
