We had a wonderful weekend - the cottage was cosy and comfortable and well equipped. Our only disappointment was that we werent fit enough to walk to the pub and back again. The distance is short but the hill was steep - no problem for the young and fit. We had an excellent meal at The White Lion and lots of lovely walks a short drive from the cottRead moreage. Hide

T'Lasses Cottage provided everything we needed for our stay. The beds are very comfortable and the showers excellent. The property was spotlessly clean throughout on arrival. The owners, who live nearby, provided plenty of useful information about the property, surrounding area and attractions. The cottage is set in a quiet hamlet, close to the Read morecanal and and an excellent pub. We'd recommend turning left out of the close and using the path (about 100yds) down to the canal to avoid walking along a narrow road with no footpath. It's also a nice walk. The cottage is well positioned for visiting many sights in and around the Yorkshire Dales without having to go too far. We had a wonderful 2 weeks and would love to return in the future. Hide
