Description

Langhorne is a recently refurbished high quality cottage, centrally located just off the village green and is within walking distance to the three local pubs, teashops and restaurants that Reeth has to offer. The cottage is full of character with woodburning stoves, large windows with original wooden shutters and window seats.  There is a walled patio garden complete with an electric Siberian Larch hot tub.  The property has stunning rural views from the master bedroom over Fremington Edge and is ideal for families or groups of friends to get together to discover the Yorkshire Dales and beyond.

Parking: On the cobbles at the front of the property on a first come first serviced basis, further parking on the cobbles 100 yards from the door.
Heating: Wet electric central heating, woodburning stoves in both the lounge and dining kitchen, (fuel included).
Garden/Patio: Split level private walled patio garden to the rear complete with electric hot tub which seats 4- 6 people and garden furniture.
Short Breaks: Accepted all year round.
Pub & Shop: 100 yards.
Notes: Towels are provided, fuel for multi-fuel stove provided, unlimited WiFi available free of charge, mobile phone signal is poor.

Area Information

Reeth
Reeth is a village in the Yorkshire Dales at the meeting point of the two most northerly of the Yorkshire Dales, Swaledale and Arkengarthdale. Its located just 11 miles from the popular market town of Richmond. The village is famous for its tradition of hand-knitting and the Swaledale Museum on the green is a treasure trove of trinkets and information on the local area. There's great options for dining in the village, from  The Burgoyne Hotel at the top of the village green to traditional offerings at The Buck Hotel. The village is a great base from which to take part in some exhilarating outdoor activities such as pot-holing, hiking or biking and the early summer Reeth hosts the annual Swaledale Festival, a fortnight of live music, arts and guided walks.
