everything simply excellent beautiful dog friendly place in excellent location
Thank you so much for a great Holiday! The cottage is beautiful and peaceful. It is so well equipped and clean - plus the decor is gorgeous. We really appreciate the Christmas decorations and all of the kitchen equipment which helped us cook a cracking christmas dinner. We ate a lovely meal at the Wyvill arms pub and could absolutely recommend a lazy walk around the Bolton estate. Thank you again for making our first Christmas away from home special.
What a first class cottage - thank you! Power for our electric car, everything you could ever need in the kitchen, in fact every detail covered and then some. Thank you for the local recommendations and the fish and chips at the Wyvill was a great suggestion. Very dog friendly as is everywhere around here. We love Yorkshire and White Rose Cottage and will look forward to coming back soon
White Rose Cottage is little gem. Perfectly located for trips to Leyburn, Richmond or further afield. The local pub, Wyvill Arms is a minutes drive or a 5 minute walk, excellent food choices. Thank you for the Parkin! I look forward to the lemon drizzle!
Had a lovely stay in your cosy cottage. Cake and Prosecco was fab. The local area is beautiful and walks were amazing. Very much a home from home place to stay. Bella loved her treats too! Thank you!
Another great stay in a wonderful cottage, nothing to much trouble, A lovely welcome pack and home made cake. Will be back again in February. Thanks Again.
This cottage was perfect in every way. We had a lovely stay. The cottage had everything we needed and more and the owners couldn't have been more helpful. We would certainly recommend this cottage.
A delightful cottage, spotlessly clean and a thoughtful welcome pack. Really pleasant hosts with a wide range of knowledge and nothing was too much trouble. A wonderful holiday.
We have enjoyed our first visit to Yorkshire - beautiful scenery, lovely walks and friendly people. Your cottage is so comfortable, very beautifully furnished and we are now Lucy Pittaway fans! Thank you both for making us (and Ruby) so welcome, for the delicious cake and welcome pack. We look forward to seeing you again in the spring.
We have had an idyllic week. Cottage is beautiful. Chris and Tracy make the package perfect. With a lovely touch of a welcome pack, cake to die for and a glass of prosecco to start the holiday we shall never forget. Bless you both.
Thank you Chris and Tracy for the lovely cake which welcomed us to your pretty cottage. We have enjoyed our stay here very much, absolutely everything we could need is here, even the cats who are so friendly. We have enjoyed the beautiful scenery and places to visit. The Wyvill has excellent meals and is just up the road. Many thanks for a relaxing holiday.
Thank you Chris & Tracy for a wonderful week in your beautiful cottage. We particularly enjoyed the cake waiting for us - delicious - and eating out in the lovely garden. Lots of great walking locally. Chris and Tracy were very attentive and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you once again, all the best for your ongoing ventures and I am sure we will be back.
Stayed at White Rose Cottage for a week. Fabulous. A home away from home stay. So comfortable with everything you need close at hand. Will highly recommend to family and friends. Thank you Chris and Tracy.
Dear Chris & Tracy what a wonderful surprise your cottage was for us. You made us feel very welcome at White Rose Cottage. The whole place looks beautiful. Everything we needed was there and more. We loved our stay with you and so did our dog. Although we have visited Yorkshire many times, you location showed us lots of other lovely places. We have had wonderful days in the Dale's and the Moors. Thank you so much for your hospitality and good care. Hope to come back for another stay at some point in the near future.
Beautiful cottage, very well equipped for two and the location is ideal for visits to the Dales, Moors and seaside.
We have had a most wonderful holiday in your beautiful cottage. Many great walks in the Dales, friendly pubs. We found absolutely everything we could possibly need in a cottage. We really enjoyed the outside space and the BBQ is great. So many things to visit and enjoy in Yorkshire.
White Rose Cottage is absolutely the best holiday rental we've ever had the good fortune to discover! Tracy & Chris are the most excellent of hosts, always available, but perfectly discreet, giving you all the space and privacy you need. Such a lovely couple! The cottage itself is so beautifully designed and decorated, but comfortable and homey, with every appointment you can possible need. They even provided us with a fan in October to accommodate my preference for sleeping with white noise at night. I would recommend this property without a moment's hesitation. We absolutely loved every moment of our stay and plan to go back as soon as possible!
At the heart of Wensleydale lies the gateway town of Leyburn, "A Town for all Seasons". With spectacular views of the surrounding countryside, unusual local shops and cafes, traditional pubs and a weekly market, it's an ideal base for walking, sightseeing, or just watching the world go by. There's lots to see and do in the town, whether it's the wonderfully quirky Forbidden Corner, the annual food and drink festival celebrating the best of local produce, the stunning Harmby waterfall or taking a trip on the Wensleydale Railway- Leyburn provides the perfect base for a Yorkshire Dales break.
