Description

This recently renovated detached stone-built barn is an ideal bolt hole for those of you who are looking to explore all the Yorkshire Dales has to offer. The property has been beautifully furnished, with a beamed ceiling to the lounge, a woodburning stove, oak doors throughout and bespoke furnishings by Sophie Allport. You’ll also find beautiful artwork by the renowned Yorkshire Dales artist Lucy Pittaway.

In White Rose Cottage, the owners also provide a generous welcome pack which includes prosecco and a variety of local ales and produce, ensuring your holiday gets off to a great start.  The welcoming local pub, The Wyvill Arms, serves excellent meals and is only a five-minute stroll away.  The popular market town of Leyburn, with its tea rooms, Friday market, Dales pubs and quirky shops is 3.5 miles away and the famous Constable Burton Hall & Gardens, a stunning Grade I listed Georgian mansion, is just across the road, perfect for a day out.

White Rose Cottage is absolutely the best holiday rental we've ever had the good fortune to discover! Tracy & Chris are the most excellent of hosts, always available, but perfectly discreet, giving you all the space and privacy you need. Such a lovely couple! The cottage itself is so beautifully designed and decorated, but comfortable and homey, with every appointment you can possible need. They even provided us with a fan in October to accommodate my preference for sleeping with white noise at night. I would recommend this property without a moment's hesitation. We absolutely loved every moment of our stay and plan to go back as soon as possible!
