Description
Piglet Cottage is a cosy stone-built semi detached cottage sleeping three, situated in the delightful village of Spennithorne just 1.8 miles from the popular market town of Leyburn in the Yorkshire Dales. It is a superb holiday cottage, full of character and furnished to a high standard. The modern kitchen is well-equipped and benefits from a Belfast sink, and oak worktops. The lounge and dining area have comfortable seating, a woodburning stove, beamed ceilings and oak furniture. Upstairs the master bedroom features a King-size bed, oak furniture and a TV. The second bedroom has a single bed. Piglet Cottage has walks from the door and is only 200 yards away from the village pub which serves excellent food. The popular Wensleydale steam railway, pubs, tea rooms and restaurants are less than a ten-minute drive away.

The Harmby Waterfall is just one of a number of local beauty spots close to the village and is accessed by a footpath from the main road; the gorgeous meadows surrounding the village are perfect for leisurely walks and are just one way of reaching Leyburn's shops, pubs, restaurants and delis from the village. However, you don't need to venture to Leyburn to experience the Yorkshire Dales famous real ales, the village has two local pubs, The Old Horn Inn in Spennithorne and the Pheasant Inn,which located at the top of the village.
