Description
Myrtle Cottage is a spacious three bedroom country cottage sleeping up to six people in three bedrooms, one with an en suite. It is set in the charming village of Bellerby, close to the popular market town of Leyburn with its quirky shops, tea rooms and the Friday market is not to be missed. It is very well placed for exploring all that the Yorkshire Dales has to offer and is an ideal option for families or groups of friends looking for a cosy base to explore Wensleydale. There is a large well-equipped kitchen complete with a range cooker, a spacious lounge and a separate dining room which looks out onto the green. A plus for this cottage is the car parking. There are many original features such as flagstone floors, beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls.

Bellerby
Myrtle Cottage is situated in Bellerby, a pretty village in the northern area of the Yorkshire Dales. There is a pub which serves food within an easy walk. The village is just a couple of miles from the popular market town of Leyburn. Here you will find a good range of shops, pubs, restaurants and tearooms, and the weekly market is on Friday. The nearby towns of Hawes, Richmond and Bedale are all within an easy drive and can also be reached by bus. For some great days out, there are many excellent attractions in the area including the Wensleydale Railway, Leyburn Tea Pottery, the Forbidden Corner, and the waterfalls at Aysgarth Falls. For those who enjoy walking, the Leyburn Shawl is easily reached and provides excellent views of the Dales.

At the heart of Wensleydale lies the gateway town of Leyburn, "A Town for all Seasons". With spectacular views of the surrounding countryside, unusual local shops and cafes, traditional pubs and a weekly market, it's an ideal base for walking, sightseeing, or just watching the world go by. There's lots to see and do in the town, whether it's the wonderfully quirky Forbidden Corner, the annual food and drink festival celebrating the best of local produce, the stunning Harmby waterfall or taking a trip on the Wensleydale Railway- Leyburn provides the perfect base for a Yorkshire Dales break.
