Description

Located within a few steps of the medieval fortress of Bolton Castle sits Knight’s Rest.  This superb cottage has views from every window and has plenty of character and charm.  Backing on to open countryside, within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this is an ideal stone cottage from where you can explore the local area. There is a comfortable lounge complete with a wood burning stove, leading onto the dining area and well-equipped kitchen, which has a Belfast sink and Oak worktops.  The Cottage has a paved patio and decked area with outside seating, complete with open views of the Yorkshire Dales.  The property has three bedrooms sleeping up to four people and is an ideal cottage for families or groups of friends looking to holiday together in this stunning area.  The popular market town of Leyburn with its Friday market, tea rooms and quirky shops is only a short drive away.

The property was well equipped and there was a lovely welcome pack. There was washing up liquid, towels and fire logs which was lovely. Scenery was fab. A really nice cottage. We would book it again.
