This was such a welcome break from our small holding. Nothing to do but relax and we did that in style! We have explored your lovely part of Yorkshire and met some wonderful people. The facilities are just we wanted - we are self contained! Thank you for the welcome pack it was a delight and the bed was so good for a bad back! Hope to be back.
Lovely to be here again! Everything just perfect! Love it.

Loved the cottage, in a sweet friendly village. The welcome pack was much appreciated. Button Cottage was a great base to explore the area. Would recommend Aysgarth, Middleham, Jervaux Abbey and the fantastic Brymor Ice Cream (dog friendly).
Cottage is very cute! Love the decor, especially the blinds and lamp shades! We had so much fun exploring the area.

Situated in the quiet village of Bellerby, North Yorkshire Button Cottage is a lovely place to stay. Really nice vibe, rooms beautifully decorated, space really well thought out. More than enough amenities in the cottage and not too far for a drive to Leyburn for shopping / eating out. Really nice walks, we enjoyed the peaceful setting and the enclosed garden. Definitely better than expected, I have no doubt we will be staying again! Loved the welcome pack and fresh roses upon arrival.. a special touch for our first wedding anniversary. Thank you Catherine we will be back soon
Thank you for the lovely welcome pack. Very cosy, lovely vibe, beautiful garden and surrounding area. Glad we chose Button Cottage to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary.
This is a fantastic cottage and it is the first time we have been away for New Year. Really enjoyed it and we will come back. The welcoming gifts were tremendous and the weather especially for this time of year was fantastic. See you again for a longer break next year
There are walks straight from the doorstep to Leyburn which has a fine selection of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as leisure facilities and the market which is held on a Friday. Close by Middleham famous for its stables is well worth a visit to watch the horses go through the village each morning, heading up to the gallops for their daily exercise. The historic market town of Richmond is within a few miles and offers leisure facilities, a swimming pool and cinema. Reeth and Hawes are within a half hour journey by car.
At the heart of Wensleydale lies the gateway town of Leyburn, "A Town for all Seasons". With spectacular views of the surrounding countryside, unusual local shops and cafes, traditional pubs and a weekly market, it's an ideal base for walking, sightseeing, or just watching the world go by. There's lots to see and do in the town, whether it's the wonderfully quirky Forbidden Corner, the annual food and drink festival celebrating the best of local produce, the stunning Harmby waterfall or taking a trip on the Wensleydale Railway- Leyburn provides the perfect base for a Yorkshire Dales break.
