Fellside is a well-equipped picturesque house in the charming village of Kettlewell, nestled within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The property sleeps up to eight people in four bedrooms and is within walking distance of the village pubs, tea rooms, shop and the River Wharf.
This delightful property benefits from quality oak furniture, oak doors, underfloor heating in both bathrooms and oozes quality at every turn. The location is ideal for exploring all the local market towns such as Skipton, with its famous castle, quaint shops and popular pubs. Why not take a leisurely boat trip on the popular Leeds to Liverpool canal and take in the stunning views along the way? Hawes with its famous creamery and traditional Dales pubs is also a short drive away, as is Grassington.
There are many walks directly from the front door and on your return why not cosy up in front of one of the wood burning stoves after a busy day exploring the local area.
Kitchen/Diner: Electric hob, oven, grill, microwave, fridge and a seperate fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, dining table and chairs, breakfast bar with stools, wood burning stove, cloak storage, radio/cd player. Stable door to patio. (One small step up to kitchen area).

Notes: Please note the rear courtyard is enclosed, there is a beck at the rear of the property, children should be supervised at all times. Both sets of stairs are quite steep, and there is limited headroom at the first step, care should be taken when ascending and descending these. Please note that the banister posts have large gaps between them, care should be taken with children.

Great cottage! Everything is perfect thank you. Enjoyed food in the Blue Bell . enjoyed a walk up Malhern Cove. Best chippy (sit in and take out) Bizzie Lizzies in Skipton . Kids enjoyed the fishing caught lots and cooked on disposable BBQ Lovely walk in Grassington and a nice village to walk around . Best Waterfall in Hardraw Force. not far from the Cheese Factory. Lovely tranquil week at Fellside. House was big enough for us all to lounge around on the wetter days and was very well equipped and comfortable when the sun was out . Enjoyed some great walks up and over the Dales. Excellent Food and drink at the Kings head to round the week off

With it's limestone terraces, the little village of Kettlewell is full of charm and is the ideal base for touring the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The village is popular with walkers, with some of the best walks in the Dales to be found in the area, from gentle riverside strolls to exploring quiet country lanes. The village is known for its farming of Swaledale Sheep as well as having provided the backdrop for the village of Knapely in the popular film, Calendar Girls. The hills surrounding Kettlewell are dotted with old mine shafts, with much of the village's housing created as homes for miners. By the 19th century, Kettlewells mines had closed with tourism now being the village's main industry. There are two pubs in the village (both serving good food), two tea rooms (one of which also doubles as a bistro in the evenings!), and a village shop. A bus route connects you to the nearby towns and villages of Skipton, Grassington and Buckden. A scarecrow festival is held in the village every August.
