Holme Cottage is a superb newly renovated stone built character cottage, located in the heart of the popular market town of Hawes, just a minute’s walk from the popular pubs, tea rooms and antique shops.  This spacious, light and airy property benefits from a sunny patio to both the front and rear. It provides very comfortable accommodation to sleep 4, with a large master bedroom, a second double bedroom with open views of the fells, and a large modern kitchen/diner well equipped with high quality kitchen units and appliances.  Furnished to a high standard throughout, Holme Cottage is an ideal cottage from where to enjoy all that the Yorkshire Dales has to offer.

Area Information

The charming market town of Hawes has been around as far back as 1307 and is still delightinng visitors to this day. Standing between Buttertubs and Fleet Moss, the name Hawes literally means 'a pass between mountains' and the town's beautiful setting in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales means you're never far from a breathtaking view and ideally located to access many of the Dale's most popular visistors attractions. The town's market is held every Tuesday selling a great selection of locally produced food and drink, however if you can't wait until then to sample some of the area's lovely food- pay a visit to the the Wensleydale Creamery, located just on the outskirts of the town to see how the famous cheese is made (and try a bit for yourself!). For lovers of the outdoors, there are many fantastic walks in the area such as the Hawes Mosaic Trail and circular walks to nearby Aysgarth Falls, a stunning waterfall over limestone steps.
