Description
Butterside Cottage is a traditional stone built cosy two bedroomed cottage, full of character and charm, in the village of Burtersett in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The property has a woodburning stove in the lounge which is ideal to cosy up in front of after a busy day exploring this popular area of the Northern Dales. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, the master having a stunning view over the Dale. The second bedroom has a small double bed and both bedrooms share the house bathroom. The nearby popular market town of Hawes is home to the world-famous Wensleydale Creamery and the Dales Countryside Museum. Walkers may enjoy the countryside from the moment they leave the cottage.
GROUND FLOOR:
Entrance: 2 steps up and then one step down once through the front door
Lounge: Two-seater sofa, chair, dining table and chairs, side table smart TV with Freeview and internet access, woodburning stove (welcome pack of fuel provided), stone flagged floor.
Kitchen: Eye level electric double oven & hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, radio, breakfast bar with stools. Door to courtyard.
13 Steps up to first floor:
Bedroom 1 : Double bed, bedside cabinet and fitted wardrobes with ample storage. Stunning view over the valley towards Hawes.
Bedroom 2: Small double bed, small chest of drawers, hanging space for clothes.
Bathroom: Bath with shower over, washbasin, toilet
Pets: One pet welcome.
Parking: Ample roadside parking 20 yards before the cottage or 50 yards away by the village hall. Parking for unloading only adjacent to the cottage.
Heating: Woodburning stove in the lounge (welcome pack of fuel provided), oil central heating.
Courtyard: Small courtyard area to the rear of the cottage with seating.
Short Breaks: Available all year round.
Notes: Towels are provided. Please note that this property does not allow smoking. Unlimited WiFi is available free of charge. Mobile phone signal is variable depending on network. This property is not suitable for children under 5.
