Myself and my partner came for a relaxing weekend away to celebrate his birthday and relax we did. We absolutely love this place and will return in the summer with our young children. Thank you so much for such an amazing weekend. Jo and Steve go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. See you next year
The best way to spend our 1st Wedding Anniversary! Thank you both so much, we'll definitely see you again!
Thank you for a wonderful couple of nights. The surroundings, the hot tub, the relaxing bed and delicious food made for an enjoyable weekend. You have a great set up and we have really enjoyed our stay. Just the ticket for getting away from it all

We have been listening with great excitement on how your yurt adventure has been unfolding. Despite all the challenges you have created something very special and something you should be proud of. The place is amazing and surpassed our expectations. Very well done. An enjoyable two nights
Had a lovely 3 night stay in Swallow yurt. slept and ate so well the food here is amazing . a real chill and tonic just what we needed.
Jo & Steve, what an amazing find! You have been amazing hosts and the yurts were incredible. Every little detail thought out and nothing was to much, even when we arrived late and you still offered dinner at short notice. Lottie had an amazing time running around and feeding the chickens and collecting eggs. It is so lovely seeing the kids get to be more 'free range' but in a safe environment so thanks for that. And Molly dog enjoyed herself greatly. Hot tub = winner! Loved it Thanks again for a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back very very soon! Love the Ash clan

A really enjoyable experience with 1st class. The hospitality was out of this world! The hot tub was a lot of fun and added to our enjoyment joined by my family to celebrate my 70th birthday I can see this becoming an annual event
The small Wensleydale village of Askrigg is an idyllic location to enjoy a self-catering break. The sights of the Yorkshire Dales National Park surround you, with the bustling market towns of Hawes, Leyburn and Northallerton being just a short drive away where you'll find lovely independent shops, cafes and restaurants. The village is famous for being the setting of fictional Darrowby in tv's All Creatures Great and Small, though in the 18th century was hive of industry when it became a centre for the textiles and knitting trade. It is also thought that Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned in Askrigg's Nappa Hall before being moved further down the dale to Castle Bolton. Today in the village you'll find three pubs, The Crown Inn (which dates back to 1850), The White Rose Hotel and the Kings Arms. The village also is home to some great tea rooms such as Humble Pie Fawcett & Guy a village bakery with a delicatessen and coffee shop. Askrigg also has a village store and newsagents.
