Fantastic place to be able to totally relax! Food is brilliant, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will certainly recommend Cherish Glamping. Love the concept and the 'eco' friendly environment. Jo & Steve are fantastic! Cheers
Today was incredible! We'd just arrived at the yurt, it's been raining since we got here. It's actually quite soothing. I was straight in the hot tub with my umbrella (actually my mummy's). It was a lot bigger than I thought it would be! I love that it is so eco friendly. I've just finished a delicious lasagne
Thanks for a lovely stay and for really going the extra mile to help us out with the car, hot tub and everything else! Lovely part of the world, wonderful sausages. Great hosts. Thanks again we will recommend and hopefully come back again soon!

Huge thanks to Jo & Steve for the most amazing two night stay in this fabulous yurt. Despite the pretty rubbish weather we've stayed warm and toasty and have been wowed with the most amazing breakfasts. The hot tub at night with a glass of prosecco listening to the rain was so special. We don't want to leave but we are leaving lovely and chilled and we will be booking again.

We are definately & hopefully bringing more people next time! Thank you

Your yurts are amazing, such a special place. It was exactly what we after. Peace & quiet with beautiful scenary. The bed was super comfy, the fire (even in July!) was so welcome and the hot tub is incredible, we sat out even in the rain enjoying the wildlife and sipping gin, even saw the little barn owl. The small Wensleydale village of Askrigg is an idyllic location to enjoy a self-catering break. The sights of the Yorkshire Dales National Park surround you, with the bustling market towns of Hawes, Leyburn and Northallerton being just a short drive away where you'll find lovely independent shops, cafes and restaurants. The village is famous for being the setting of fictional Darrowby in tv's All Creatures Great and Small, though in the 18th century was hive of industry when it became a centre for the textiles and knitting trade. It is also thought that Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned in Askrigg's Nappa Hall before being moved further down the dale to Castle Bolton. Today in the village you'll find three pubs, The Crown Inn (which dates back to 1850), The White Rose Hotel and the Kings Arms. The village also is home to some great tea rooms such as Humble Pie Fawcett & Guy a village bakery with a delicatessen and coffee shop. Askrigg also has a village store and newsagents.
