Angel Heights is a beautiful three bedroomed house which sleeps six in the delightful seaside town of Whitby. On entering the property, you will be met by a staircase with a handmade banister rail from a local ironwork artist. If you like seaside and local themed design, then this house is for you. Angel Heights has many features to ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It is such a light and sunny house in the afternoon that you will want to kick off your shoes and relax. The large kitchen is a lovely room in which to meet and cook up a meal from some of the best produce Yorkshire has to offer. Try Fortunes Kippers from the legendary Smokehouse in the Old Town or fresh fish from the harbourside. The bedrooms are cosy and welcoming, and the living room is perfect at any season. Whitby is filled with activities enough to fill any holiday, see the iconic Whitby Abbey where the Cistercian monks once lived and worshipped and where Bram Stoker allegedly took his inspiration for Dracula. You can’t leave without eating fish and chips outside on the Victorian bandstand whilst looking over the harbour. At night the lights of the amusements twinkle, bring some coins and have a go on the machines, you might get lucky. The beaches are long and traditional with donkeys and deckchairs in the summer. Restaurants and cafes abound and for those who wish to explore further the Yorkshire Coast and Moors has so much to offer. You will need to return to Angel Heights to fit it all in.
Entrance: The front door leads into the lobby and a further door leads you to the staircase which takes you up to floor one. There is a beautiful handmade wrought iron handrail.
Landing 1: A landing off which leads to the kitchen and bedroom one.
Bedroom 1: A double room with decorative shelving and a wall mounted television, the warm blue decoration gives this room a cosy feel. There is a built-in wardrobe and bedside cabinets with lighthouse styled bedside lights, just the thing for a seaside bedroom.
Kitchen: A well-equipped and very stylish room with wooden limewashed units. This room looks out onto the front of the property with views down Brunswick Street. The afternoon sun ensures that the kitchen is bathed in sunshine. With its Whitby inspired wallpaper and pale blue tiling you will feel a real nautical vibe, and why not you are in the centre of Whitby! There is a fridge/freezer, electric built in oven with ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, DeLongi coffee machine and a washer dryer. If you fancy a spot of music, there is a CD player and radio and for the budding chefs’ cookbooks for culinary inspiration, there are even some dog bowls for your furry friend. More thoughtful touches are a set of buckets and spades and some umbrellas. There is room enough in the kitchen for all the family to gather and the large pine dining table with six chairs takes centre stage, you can cook, chat and eat all together, a truly sociable space for family and friends to gather.

Lounge: A light and airy room which looks over the main street and the large sash window lets in the afternoon sunlight. The two large leather sofas are perfect to cosy up on and just the place to enjoy time with family and friends or take time out to watch the large smart TV and catch up on those box sets ! The Whitby nautical theme is carried through into this room with the wallpaper and stunning artwork depicting Whitby Abbey at dusk. A large pine chest is a perfect place to rest a coffee or a glass of something tasty and with WIFI, games console, DVD, a radio plus games for adults and children, CDs and books you will not be short of amusement. A stained-glass window leading into the landing is a real feature of this delightful room.
Bathroom: A large bathroom with more than a nod to the seaside, there is a large tiled corner shower and a bath to enjoy a long soak. A pedestal hand basin and toilet complete the sanitary ware. There is a built-in cabinet for all your beauty products and a tall heated towel rail to keep your towels lovely and toasty.
Bedroom 2: This room looks out over the front of the property and the bustling Brunswick Street. The afternoon sun streams in through the window and bathes the room in dappled light. This large room has a double bed, wardrobe, large chest of drawers, bedside cabinets, velvet sofa and a full-length mirror. The crystal handles on the furniture and the lovely velvet sofa add a glamourous touch. There is a television for you to enjoy whilst relaxing in bed after a day exploring Whitby.
En-Suite: A stylish room with a shower cubicle, corner toilet and sink in a vanity unit. A heated towel rail will keep you nice and toasty, bright and quirky seaside art adorns the walls.
Bedroom 3: A butterfly themed room which is light and jolly. Twin beds with matching painted headboards and bedside cabinet. A built-in wardrobe provides storage. Pretty bunting decorates the window and a pale blue paint scheme adds to the air of relaxation in this super room, great for children.

Whitby is a popular choice for visitors all year round. It is well known for its long sandy beach and delicious seafood. The river Esk flows through the town to the sea and cottages are perched on the hills on each side, with cobbled streets and historic yards providing a maze of places to explore. The town has a fantastic mix of modern shops and services, traditional stores and boutique shops. Whitby jet continues to be made into beautiful jewellery and sold in a number of shops. There are plenty of excellent restaurants which serve local fish and seafood, as well as a wonderful choice of cafes and tearooms.
The ruins of Whitby Abbey stand dominantly on the clifftop and can be reached by climbing the 199 steps from the old town. The Abbey is said to have been the inspiration for Bram Stoker's novel Count Dracula, and its gothic splendour is the perfect place from which to take in some truly stunning views over the town, harbour and coastline. Whitby harbour is steeped in history and visitors can see where British explorer Captain James Cook first worked as an apprentice before setting sail and discovering Australia. A statue of this great explorer stands proudly above the town, along with some huge whalebones, a sign of the town's maritime history. The harbour is a buzz of activity and you can enjoy early mornings watching the fishing boats come ashore before getting first choice of their catch of the day.
There's always something happening throughout the town, with festivals and fairs are held throughout the year. These include Whitby Folk Week and the Whitby Regatta, and there are two popular Goth festivals each year.
