Please add further details on any accessibility items or restrictions found at the property: The garden is accessed via road - short walk then 1 wide step up, a 3ft wide gate then 1 small step up to small lawned area. Garden furniture is one round table and fold-up chairs. There is a free standing stone bird bath in one corner of the garden. Outside light at entrance to cottage but no outside light in garden, however it can be illuminated by the living room lights. Ramp up to wheelie bins storage area. Car parking space is level and gravelled. The stone coal bunker is in the form of a bench.

Description

West Barnby is a quiet, sleepy hamlet just three miles from Sandsend with its two mile golden beach which stretches all the way to Whitby. There is a garden with garden furniture. It is an ideal place for a peaceful, get away from it all holiday. The lovely beach at Runswick Bay is only five minutes drive away.

GROUND FLOOR:
Lounge/Kitchen/Dining area:
TV with Freesat and built-in DVD player, music centre and open fire. Fridge freezer, electric cooker with hob and microwave. Dining table and chairs.

FIRST FLOOR:
Bedroom 1:
Double bed, wardrobe, dressing table and stool.
Bedroom 2: Single 2ft 6'' bed, small wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Bathroom: Bath, toilet and washbasin.

Pets: Sorry, no pets.
Parking: Private parking space off the road.
Heating: Open fire in lounge and night storage heaters, and additional electric heaters. Firelighters and kindling are provided for open fire. Coal can be provided at additional cost by arrangement with the owners prior to arrival.
Garden: Paved sitting out area at the front and small, lawned enclosed garden at the back with garden furniture.
Short breaks: Not accepted at peak times.
Notes: Towels are provided. Child gate at top of the stairs.WiFi is not available . Mobile phone signal is variable. No smoking at this property.
Pub and Shop: 2 miles.

West Barnby is a secluded little village situated six miles outside the historic seaside town of Whitby.Surrounded by farmland with good views across the valley to the moors, this is a great base for walking and cycling holidays. Its location makes it a prime spot for nature lovers, and gives easy access to the National Park and attractions such as the North York Moors Steam Railway. There is also the picturesque Esk Valley line and local beaches. This is an ideal place for both country and beach holidays.
