This luxurious and spacious barn conversion with a hot tub and sea views offers the perfect base for exploring the vast and beautiful Yorkshire Coast. Set amongst tranquil farmland and close to the delightful seaside locations of Staithes, Saltburn-by-the-Sea and Whitby, amongst others, Byre Cottage is a walker’s delight.
Retaining many original features, the cottage has been furnished to a very high standard and offers numerous luxuries to make your stay that little bit extra special. The wood burner in the open plan living area provides the perfect place to relax after a long day, or why not take a long soak in the hot tub with a glass of bubbles. Further luxuries can be found outside in the garden where you can while away a lovely evening dining on the patio with the fire pit and barbecue. The latest technologies can also be found at this property with modern essentials such as Smart TVs, DVD player, iPod docking station and free WiFi.
Set all on one floor the property offers a king size bed in the bedroom boasting a luxurious sleigh bed and en suite bathroom with underfloor heating. The property is ideal for a romantic break away.

Area Information

Staithes is a pretty, traditional fishing village with bundles of charm located 10 miles north of Whitby and offers an idyllic location for holidaymakers visiting the seaside. The village boasts some of the narrowest cobbled streets in the north and is connected with ginnels, nooks and winding streets. There is plenty to see and do with pubs, cafes, shops, art galleries and a fish smokehouse. The village hosts real ale and jazz festivals during the year and the September Arts Festival is becoming a very popular event which attracts many visitors. For those fancying taking to the waters there are regular boat trips to Whitby from Staithes. There are many walks around the area along the cliff tops and through to Whitby, it is an ideal location for any holidaymaker.
