Description

This stunning second floor apartment has far reaching sea views looking out along the South Bay towards the castle and down the coast towards Filey. The apartment is of a good standard with excellent furnishings and décor, and the owner has thought of every little detail to make your stay a pleasurable one. This spacious and comfortable property is in one of the most sought after areas of Scarborough, just by the Italian Gardens which lead down to the seafront. You can take a short stroll down to the beach, or use the tramway lift. The town of Scarborough has lots of restaurants, bars and a range of quaint shops along with the larger chains. It is a haven of culture and history with the Stephen Joseph Theatre, which hosts most of Alan Ayckbourn’s world premier plays and the ruins of Scarborough castle. Take a walk around the Marine Drive which runs round the base of the castle headland offering a pleasant, level walk to the attractions of the North Bay including Peasholm Park, Sea Life Centre, Alpamare Water Park and the Open Air Theatre.

For those who enjoy walking, the Cleveland Way passes the doorstep on its way to its final destination at Filey. The clifftop walks are spectacular, having far reaching views along the coast towards Filey and Flamborough Head. Scarborough is a perfect base from which to visit The North York Moors National Park and the east coast. The seaside resorts of Whitby, Filey and Bridlington are within easy reach by car or public transport. The medieval city of York, with its beautiful minster and ancient city walls, is just an hour away

Kitchen/Dining Room: The kitchen is very well equipped with modern sleek white units and matching worktop. You will find a fridge freezer, dishwasher, built in electric oven with ceramic hob and hood over, a washing machine and tumble dryer and microwave, A welcome pack is included.
This is open to the dining area with wooden table and four chairs boasting stunning views of the sea.
Lounge:  This room is open from the dining area and has magnificent sea views through the large bay window.  There is a large corner leather sofa seating six plus two armchairs facing the window. A Smart TV stands in the corner with freeview and having a blueray player.  The Adams style fireplace houses an electric fire. The room is complimented by two coffee tables and a bookcase, not forgetting the binoculars and telescope for you to watch the ships go by. This room is extremely stylish and is a super room in which to sit and relax after a day by the sea.
Bedroom One: An elegantly furnished room with a king-sized bed with bedside cabinets and lamps. There is a dressing table with stool and a three-way mirror. TV. You will also find plenty of storage with a range of wardrobes.
Bedroom Two:  Down a small flight of stairs from the main bedroom is the large second bedroom with three foot Zip and Link beds giving you a choice of twin beds or a super-king, with two bedside cabinets with lamps, TV with Xbox, chest of drawers and wardrobe.
Bathroom: This large room boasts a P shaped bath with electric shower over and curved glass shower screen, WC, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.
